Registrations open for 2023/24 season!

Hello Glenunga Cricketers!

Fresh off the back of another Ashes Test Match win, we’ve got our registrations open for the 2023/24 Summer of Cricket at Glenunga. It might be July but another season is just around the corner, there’s even an ICC World Cup during this season too!

Before we get to registrations, there’s some other things to look at first.

Woolworths Blasters
For those looking for registrations for Woolworths Blasters Cricket, registrations will be released closer to the start of the season. Keep an eye out for more information.

Apparel Orders
These are your playing and training shirts, orders are put through the Nelson Teamwear portal and will close at Midnight on the 23rd of July. Get your orders in now so your child doesn’t miss out on their playing shirts for out on the field! Click the link below to order your shirts, caps, hoodies, wide brims and anything else you’d like to get your hands on.
Please make sure you fill out all fields with your child’s name, and their playing age group (U10, U12, U14, U16) or their age if you’re not sure so orders can be sorted and packed.
For Senior Cricketers, order your playing shirts during the PlayHQ registration process (link in the heading below) or email Alex with the playing shirt you’re after. All other orders go through the same portal.

Junior Registrations

To make sure we can communicate with you adequately throughout the season, make sure you join the WhatsApp group for announcements. You’ll need to need to download WhatsApp to your smart phone, then setup the app and click the link below to join.

Volunteers
We’re always on the lookout for volunteers. We’re a big club and many hands make light work and it doesn’t even have to be in an official capacity! Some roles can also be shared. We’re always on the look out for more Coaches and Team Managers, but we’re also looking for a Junior Grounds Coordinator, Sponsors and Events Coordinator(s), Uniform and Equipment Coordinators, if you’re savvy with social media, a Promotions, Junior or Senior Communications role might be for you! See the attached with some role descriptions so you can understand more, but we are happy for people to get involved in other ways too!

A few things to note, please make sure you chose the appropriate age group when signing up your child. If you aren’t sure, please get in touch with us via social@glenungacc.com.au and we’ll guide you through the process. Please read through when registering as we have plenty of questions for you! We’re also looking for more people to volunteer! They don’t have to be in an official capacity, it might be some work behind the bar or helping out the rest of the committee with some tasks. Were looking for a Sponsor and Events Coordinator, Uniform and Equipment Coordinator, Coordinators for social media, junior and senior communications as well. Please get in touch with Alex if you want to assist.
