Registrations Open!

It’s that time of the year again when registrations open, but before you start clicking madly to get your spot for this years summer of cricket. There are a few formalities to go through!

Registrations will go through the new PlayHQ website and is the new replacement for MyCricket (much to our delight). During the sign up process, for those wanting to bring across stats, you need your CricketID, not your MyCricketID. Confusing, I know. There’s some more about that here

Also note, with plenty of thought and discussion from the committee, we’ve raised the registration fees this year. In the last few years there has been a freeze on raising them and throughout the pandemic. But with rising costs to play cricket, we’ve had to put them up, along with the possibility they may go up again in following seasons. The national registration fee from Cricket Australia has gone up also and will be on top of the fees to play at Glenunga Cricket Club.

The clothing portal is also open through Nelson Teamwear, once again providing us with great products and gear for the season, in addition to the usual merchandise there are stubby holders, socks and polo shirts making their debut.

Junior Registrations

Registrations for a junior will $340 including the $16 National Insurance fee.

Senior Registration and Playing Shirts

Senior registration fees are $422.50 including the $22.50 National Insurance fee.

Registration is available until the end of September, however, if you have not paid in advance your name will not appear in the list to be selected for games. The PlayHQ system enforces payment to be able to be picked for teams. Registration can be done by clicking here

Senior Playing Shirts
For those wanting new playing shirts, they are available in short and long sleeve. Orders cut off at the end of July and payment is made via PlayHQ during the registration process. If you don’t order any playing shirts you will miss out.

All other training shirts and merchandise are ordered via the Nelson Teamwear Portal
